Before the next campaign. Before the next €1,000.

Your campaign can look healthy.
Your margins can tell another story.

Before another budget increase, connect the number in your ad account to the money each order leaves behind.

Same ROAS. Different economics.

Two €200 orders, both acquired for €50. Variable costs decide what remains.

Store A 4× ROAS

€200 order · €50 ads

55% margin before ads
Left after ads€60

Store B 4× ROAS

€200 order · €50 ads

25% margin before ads
Left after ads€0
Variable costsAdvertisingWhat’s left

The same ROAS leaves very different amounts to run the business.

A worked example

€5,000 in sales.
€350 left.

Would you raise the budget?

That’s the modeled result from €1,200 in ads and 50 orders. Here’s where each €100 order goes.

One €100 order€7 left
€69€24
Variable costsAdsLeft
You wanted €13 left. You’re €6 short per order.
See the inputs behind this example
Cost per click
€0.48
Conversion rate
2%
Average order value
€100
Margin before ads
31%
Desired contribution
13% / €13

Illustrative model, not a customer result. One order per new customer is assumed. The €350 is before fixed costs and tax.

Modeled ad cost per order€0.48 ÷ 2%€24
Break-even ceiling€100 × 31%€31
Target acquisition cost€31 − €13 desired contribution€18
Contribution after ads€31 − €24 modeled ad cost€7

The next 50 orders would leave you €300 short of your contribution goal if these inputs stay the same.

At the same CPC, conversion needs to reach about 2.67%. At the same conversion rate, CPC needs to fall to €0.36. Check which change is realistic before putting more money through the same economics.

What the €49 buys

Why pay if Excel
can do the math?

Excel can do this. AdsMath gives you the connected model, margin helper, target thresholds and explanations, already working together.

“I don’t know my margin.”

Enter the costs behind an average order: product, shipping, fees and expected returns. The margin helper does the calculation. You still need realistic costs.

“My numbers aren’t certain yet.”

Start with a range. Test what would need to be true, then replace the assumptions with actual data. You can use it before launching, too.

“What do I actually do with the result?”

Check whether your current acquisition cost reaches your target. If it doesn’t, test the CPC, conversion rate or order economics that would close the gap.

AdsMath Google Sheet showing ad spend inputs and profit outputs
The story behind AdsMath

It started with a Google Sheet.

I’ve used this sheet in hundreds of calls to show how ad spend, CPC, conversion rate, order value and margin work together. We’d change one number and see what happened to the rest. The reaction I heard many times:

“No one has ever explained it this way.”

AdsMath grew from that sheet. A downloadable version is included with your calculator.

Your next decision.

One browser-based calculator, with the explanation beside the result. Open it with your store numbers and a decision to make.

Connect the whole model

Clicks → orders → revenue → acquisition cost → contribution. One connected model.

Understand the answer

See what the result means, what it leaves out and what to check before acting.

Test the next move

Test changes to CPC, conversion, order value and margin without rebuilding your model.

The existing Decision Guide is also available inside the paid product for reference. Calculator outputs are estimates based on the inputs you enter.

The practical details

Before you buy.

Will it work for my business?

It is built primarily for ecommerce and first-order economics. It models ad cost per order. Treat that as new-customer CAC only when those orders are new customers. Repeat purchases and lifetime value are not automatically included.

How do I get access?

Follow the access instructions delivered after successful payment. AdsMath runs in your browser on desktop and mobile. No software installation or ad-account connection is required.

Is €49 a subscription?

No. It is a one-time digital purchase. Access and availability follow the Terms of Use; any applicable taxes and the final total appear at checkout. See the refund policy before buying.

Does it guarantee more profit?

No. Results depend on your inputs. Contribution after ads still needs to cover fixed costs and tax. Check actual costs and performance before making a spending decision.
